I know what the traditional Christmas dishes are, but what are you supposed to cook for Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Yule, Solstice and so on? And how can those dishes be made vegan (no animal products)? I'm still fairly new at being vegan, but trying to integrate it with my passion for world culture. Happy holidays! :-)

I can tell you what they serve a lot in Chanukah...Donuts and other pastries...Chanukah is a celebration so a lot of goodies are eaten...It is not a religious holiday.
Kawanzza is a secular holiday invented in 1966. It has no religious activity and no special foods. Those that celebrate it as it was originally designed, celebrate separatism and superiority.
Be careful when going vegan...I did that for a couple of years and had to go back to being a vegetarian. I was not getting enough fats in my diet and lost most of my hair. I also could not seem to get enough protein even though I ate beans and rice etc. every day.
