I was wondering if any of you have had surgery before, I have in July and sometimes I can still feel the area where I was cut open. It hurts on and off on occasion, not alot or sharp pain but sometimes like something is touching it like a pin kind of. I was wondering if that was normal and if the weather has anything to so with it, cause I sometimes have reactions when the weather is very cold like aches and pains more often. Most of the time it's fine but I still find myself "protecting" where it was done for some reason. And I still can't do any cartwheels like our own Orson of mylot, either by the way.

You have to remember that that tissue and muscle and that area were put under a HUGE stress and turmoil and attack and it takes a long time for all that to go back to normal. Nerves were damaged or stressed, muscle was weakened and skin doesn't just "grow" back smooth and soft. So it just takes a longer time that expected. I say just still protect it to a point, no bandage or anything, but sheild it from confrontation. I had a tumor taken out of my head..they cut my scalp and pulled the skin back and then sewed it back up...well with staples...but that was 8 years ago and that area is still minorly sensitive. Last year they did another one on side side of my temple by my eye...the scar is healing great nad getting smaller to vision, but boy it still hurts to touch it! But what I said above, is what my neurologist told me.

I know that would be really bad and hurt a lot.So just try to do any other thing and get rid of that attention. The scar would hurt now and then.So find things to do and eat healthy diet.I believe this will really help about your situation.Good luck my friend.

Hello NailTeck. I should think that by now you wouldn't be having any pain with the scares. The other day I was watching a program about Drs leaving such things as instruments and gauze and other things in the wounds. You might want to look into that.

I also have problems with the scar tissue. It seems that it hurts different depending on where is the scar. I even have pain in my finger where I cut myself a couple of months ago. It wasn`t much, but the scar is still tender and painful to the touch.

I get this all the time with mine as well. I have scar under my arms, and they have this throbbing pain, and sometimes sort of like a finger nail going across or something. My other scars I dont notice it as much, but maybe it has to do with where it is on the body.
