it was a fun film, definitely action-filled and lots of violence, so not for people under 13.. The story is quite simple, but it was very entertaining, so many things not yet explored though..i hope they'd have a sequel for this. story:"In a violent, futuristic city where the police have the authority to act as judge, jury and executioner, a cop teams with a trainee to take down a gang that deals the reality-altering drug, SLO-MO." My father watched this last night. It didn't really interest me. The picture is full of contrasting colors, the sound effects were loud, there were a lot of bloody scenes and too much slow motion if you ask me. haha, it's so different from the Dredd movie where Stallone was in. I prefer the older version because it is not as violent. But maybe the new Dredd captured the Dredd from the comics? I don't know. I have not read the comics either.

I don't know if it's me or what, but whenever I see a movie with too many slow motions in it, it makes me think they are flaunting their great computer effects. I mean, "okay, okay I get it, it's cool can we speed things up now?" But I don't hate it. Yeah, the movie is understandably violent since they were dealing with criminals after all. The older movie of Dredd was fun, there was a funny guy in the cast who acted alongside Stallone. Kind of kid stuff but it made more sense to me than the new movie. You check it out.

Yes, i am actually looking for a copy of it.. Although i am not a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone, i do love watching a good action movie, especially if it is set in a future time.. I love slo-mos though, if they are needed, like in 300 and limitles.

While I have not read the comics for Judge Dredd, I thought the movie was fine. I was not really expecting much. I watched it because one of my friends wanted to watch it. It was action packed and violent, which is very common for these films adapted from comic books.

Yeah, i didn't expect anything at all, not seeing the comics or the earlier version of the movie, it would've been a lot better if i saw it in 3d though.. All the effects would be felt more.. I guess a lot of video game/violent game people would enjoy this though..
