I've already posted that I got a new computer. Today I tried to scan a photo to add to a comment on someone else's post and was dismayed that the new computer was being standoffish, not recognizing the old printer/scanner. So I've been tweaking this and that and I think I finally have it working. Here's the pic: It's from 1976, so has faded somewhat.

I have this issue with my printer, except I just bought both the computer and printer within the last year. But the computer is complete crap, it can't find anything I guess that's what I get from buying from Futureshop.

Maybe you need to look for updates? Or reinstall the OS.
