My New year's resolution has usually been quite quirky, and this year is not any different from the other years. This year I'm planning to get more into pokemon, of which I installed a Game Boy Advance emulator onto my Android Nexus, (The app is called My Boy! Free, for anyone wanting to know.) as well as Pokemon Emerald.
Posting this on Facebook, I guess It was a bad Idea since after leaving Facebook until the next day, I received twenty-six notifications on my E-mail that people have commented on my status. It turns out that choosing Torchic (Fire-based pokemon) wasn't the best idea as a starter.
I totally got that weird new feeling when someone from a completely different genre of games joins this new community and is marginalized by it. (I'd have to say that the best example would be a person who would play Call of Duty : Black Ops starts playing Minecraft, though you can think of your own.) I'm not really too hurt by what they said, though it feels weird.
Have you ever felt this way or similar to this way? I'm sure it's not necessarily dealing with games, though there were some people of which I didn't know were so big on these types of games.
