Imagine you are the child of the parents who already divorced. The mother took custody on the child which is you. Your father when and remarried a younger woman. Several years later your father is in debt and he borrowed from loan sharks. If he ever finds you and he demands money, how will you deal with this situation? What if you refuse and he decided to send the loan shark to your mother and you?

Your father has no right to make you pay for any money he had borrowed and you can always send the loan shark away. Unless you signed as his guarantor then the loan shark might go after you.

No No.. You misunderstand. I mean put yourself in that situation. It has nothing to do with my father.

So you have to signed as a guarantor in order for the loan sharks to go after you? But there are cases where the loan sharks might just come to the relative just because they are related to that person in debt

Probably the loan sharks just wanted to ask the relatives about the whereabouts of the peson they were looking for.

I think the loan shark is not that stupid to go after the wife and daughter. I'm sure they wouldn't want to get themselves into trouble. They will only go after the person who borrowed the money.

Well,it is really a problem. But it depends how he treated us before if I were in this kind situation. If he is a good father and they are compelled to end in divorce,I may try to give him a hand when he is in need. But on the contrary,I would refuse to help him and if he insists,I would ask for the legal assistance.
