How do we remain calm?

When you feel you are taken for a ride? When your plans are put aside for your partners. When you are cheated royally because you have an emotional relationship with that person. When you are misguided for the personal gain of others or when you are snubbed for no fault of yours. This is what happens to victims of violence. In India when a female is wronged, the society points its fingers at the unfortunate victims. There are no laws to book the culprits on immediate evidence. The trails drag on and finally the criminals get away without any major punishment. What steps should we take to overcome this injustice?

It's very hard to remain calm in different situations as we all feel that we don't deserve a certain treatment or reactions from other people. Lots of people , in the case you described and we all were like "not possible" for this to happen - people will raise against the judgement and have something to do to undo the wrong.

That truly is a sad thing. I have read a few articles about things like that. That women are are harmed viciously without any justice or punishment to those who caused the harm. There are tons of cases where women have bee burned with acid or gang raped. It is so sad to hear this. There needs to be more or different people in power who will stand up and try to protect the women and young girls in that country.
