My baby just learned to crawl, and after that day when I stimulated her to get on her knees, she won't stop moving around. But, she's still using her forearms, one leg and core to move fast. I can see her pull her knee up to move, but still struggling. It's so fascinating to see her try her best to move an inch.
And, just the other night, she suddenly clapped her hands in front of me and giggled with it. So, I gave her a chant to associate the clapping skills with. Then, now, everytime I chant, she'd throw her hands together and clap. Another amusing act from my little baby girl.
She's more than half a year now, and we'll be expecting to see more skills and tricks from her in the coming days, weeks or months. Who knows, after a few winks, she'd be on her feet and ready to take her first steps.

The first of the first
1. The first smile
2. The first word.
3. The first clap.
4. The first stand of independence
5. The first step.
6. The first run.
....... All joyful mysteries. A parent surely proud and happy. And taking every milestone that a child made.
7. The first school.
8. The first remembered poem, recited in the class.
9. The first song or first dance performed on stage...
10. The first medal received for a great performance either academically or school achievement..
...... all luminous mysteries.. A parent experienced, the brightness of the future of this child, as proudly saying that..." Yes, we are doing it greatly and correctly. We are on the right track... Agaian all of these well documented.
11. The first fall.
12. The first heart break.
13. The first failure.
14. The first cry for help...
All sorrowful mysteries. Parent tries to understand, what went wrong... Parent sometimes blames onesef for these failures, trying to figure out how the parent is going to help the child and how she/he will understand the child. All in the sorrowful mysteries.
On the personal note: A parent ...l such a wonderful thing a parent does is closely monitoring a child's progress, a child's happiness... The first one who actually feels the success, and pains of the child. The parent who is always offers not just hand but whole arm mto supportand help the child. Hard to become a parent very challenging and yet rewarding.

Wow! That's a very nice way of putting it. Thanks for sharing this.
I agree that parenting is not an easy thing to do. I am a stay at home mother, and still it's not easy to be a good parent to my kids. I thought nothing was worse than being away from them, when I was still working. But, things could just get tougher when you're with them. They can see you make a mistake, be upset, be sad, and all the negative things that they could copy or remember you with. I always wanted to be a cool and great mother, but, it's easier thought than done.

Thanks a ton for sharing this discussion. Well that is absolutely great to hear and i know how u must be feeling seeing her antics and new skills every day. I mean this is the stage when u can see them learning and imitating new and different things which is a treat to watch. Even i get thrilled whenever my 1 year old niece is around, she is so playful that most of my time gets spend watching her only. Babies are so innocent and pure i believe.
What say?

We really enjoy seeing her perform new tricks and skills. We can see that she enjoys it, too. She always has a big smile on her face when she claps her hands softly, and opens-and-closes her hands rhythmically.
