Hello and Goodbyes

I went back to my previous assignment in order to get a clearance and at the same time to say goodbye to my friends there and to formally close what I have started with them. I was not able to do it the last time because I was unaware that I would be reassigned that early and without any prior notice. I traveled again to the rice field which I was just sharing the other week that the planting season already has already began and now I noticed that the plants has grown for about 8 to 10 inches tall already. I am quite amazed of the view, how fast time flies! When I reached the office, my friends are doing their usual work and they were surprised to see me. My closest of all hugged me tight as we bid goodbyes. This is one of the moments that I hate with my present job. I have to say hello and goodbye often. It is the goodbye that makes me sad. We were not even able to have some time together and here we are now, separating ways. Well, I must prepare myself for similar things in the future. Still one sad truth about life. Have a nice day everyone!

It is normal having a job that been transfer from different places. It's ok rather than having a job in one place but the salary is not enough for your needs. I am working also from different places and even countries now but I accept it with all my hearts. We cannot avoid it. We must learn to accept the reality that life is a constant change.

We should be flexible in all aspect of our lives not all for the job we have but also to other things specially related to your family and friends

I would hate that job as well, haveing to say hello and goodbye so often. Also, moving myself around would be a hassle.

It's always sad when you have to say goodbye to a part of your life that is truly over, and the notion of having to start again, and move on. I think it's wonderful to have such a good rapport with your colleagues and know genuinely that you are going to be missed. You can always keep in touch, although it's never the same, people change and move on. Life goes on!

Although we have been together for a short time, they have been very helpful to me in whatever task that I had to accomplish during the time I am with them. The fact that I was so busy when I came to the place, I was not even given a chance to have some time with them for us to talk or have a good time together. That is the sad thing. But I can always visit them. Actually I told them that I might be reassigned on the place in the future. For the meantime I have to concentrate on my new assignment. I am also busy preparing for the training on Thursday. Thank you for sharing wolfie! Have a nice day!

I also don't like saying goodbye. I try to avoid using the word "bye" and prefer to say "see you". Oh, really it breaks our heart leaving friends behind, but we don't have any choice.

That's right. That's what our friends told us (my team mates and I) when we leave our assignment for the field immersion. Thank you for sharing!

Hello Aries, it's part of life but would have been better if the higher management had told you about this.who owns the rice fields anyways? you? thats a good view i think and a lucky harvest. we have a small plantation back in the province but I don't know if we are still planting rice there. well, hope you get to meet new friends there in place of transfer soon

We are all busy and one reason for why I was not informed earlier is that they might not able to do it before the election ban and I will be stuck on the place until after election. I also have a feeling that my boss lost my number because I am not receiving any information from him lately which I still have to check. About the rice field I just presented this to have a basis on time. I rememeber I started a discussion about it the other week. I don't own it, he he. Hopefully everything goes on smoothly. But based on some observations, it is more peaceful this time than on the past years. Thank you for sharing!

A pleasant day Aries1973, I guess, I need to prepare myself for that phrases again, saying hello and goodbyes. Although I've been once told that line so often for five years as I am always leaving my family since my job is very far from home. And now, since I am praying that God would let me to have another job opportunity far from home, so I need to prepare to say that once again without any tears to flow from my eyes.

Yes, friend. This will be my life as long as I am with my present agency. One reason for this is to prevent familiarity which can be the cause of fraud and other not so favorable transactions within. I am a very emotional person that is why things like this really affects me in one way or another. But I am still happy because I will be having new people to deal with this time. Thank you for sharing!
