Important people don't return calls!

AS you may know I'm going through some problems with the irs. I've had to fax papers to them and leave messages for them at their office. Although this is very important to me and I've said so in my messages telling them I can't pay for my medications, bills, laundry and everything else I use. If this doesn't get taken care of it's going to carry on to next month and then it will be worse! I try to be proactive and do what I have to do to help myself so why don't these people call me back? There's information I desperately need to know and can't get it from anyone. It's all making me very depressed. Has anything like this ever happened to you? What do you do to get them to call you back?

Have you talked directly with the IRS on the phone? And did they give you an itemized list of what you owe or is it penalties?

I finally found out what's going on...I got a letter 5 days after they debited my account. I have spoken with 3 people there but only one can help me. He has all my faxed information and my phone number but when I call him I always get his voicemail. It won't be long before I start getting nasty in my messages. I can only take so much before I blow up!

The senators aid called me yesterday and said they have some pull with the irs and he was calling them as soon as we hung up. He said he would call me back and to expect a call from the irs also. Neither one happened so I'm hoping today I hear something.

Yes, but I just ruled it out for calling me back will be of no important to them. Their time is maybe more precious than I have. Look, what benefits they will acquire if they will call you back, nothing. You already left a message for them to know. If they will call you back will it then change the content of your message? no, it will not. They will just send you a demand Letter if in case you can't compel to your obligations with them. You are in need of the information for you to feel at ease. It will be your decision to contact them if you want an answer.

I find this so damn frustrating, you want to get something done, and it's out of your hands, you cannot complete anything because you are relying on someone else. You know yourself that you as a person are reliable, and if someone needed something you'd make sure you do it for them, but when it comes to needing help the help isn't forthcoming. The only thing to do is to be persistent, you may think you are becoming a nuisance, but sadly you have to be this way to get anywhere, otherwise you are simply forgotten about.

Yes, that's why they are Important people. However in your case I can see that you need the urgency to know some details that only these people can answer. Maybe the reason why they haven't call you back is because they are still attending to cases like yours and they will get back to you as soon as they are finished with the other cases. Worry not.. they will give you a call.

If calling isn't enough, maybe you should pay them a visit. When it comes to government issues, I don't expect calls to be reliable, I always take time to go on that agency or department and try to ask them personally. It's much effective if you are talking to them personally because your fax and calls are being burried with another fax and calls.

Seems that way all over.. do you think they are just to darn busy? Maybe they need a few more assistants to help them...
