Beyonce' lip syncing at the 2013 Inauguration

So.. I have been reading a lot of articles about the U.S. Marines who are complaining about Beyonce' lip syncing the National Anthem at the 2013 Inauguration and I swear it is one of the most stupid complaints I've ever heard. So what she lip synced the National Anthem at the Inauguration? You can search on Youtube and find videos of where she sang the National Anthem in the past for athletic events and she didn't lip sync that. The point is.. the woman can sing. There's no doubt about that and some parts she did actually sing, but I see nothing at all wrong with her lip syncing. If it would have been anyone else with a voice not as strong, it would've been viewed as OK for them to lip sync. Those U.S. Marines really need to find better hobbies, in my opinion. What are you guys thoughts?

The marines are already grateful becuz they have the fortune to see her and have her around. Thats good enough. They should just walk up to her and say thank you.
If they are complaining maybe they are ice hockey fans.

Haha yea I would have loved to have been there. I am not too far from DC as I live in VA however it is quite a drive still from here and I'm sure it was well overcrowded, but what a historic event for those who were there to witness it!

I agree , I think that is a silly complain . I think people just try to start up things to feel important . They just attention seekers in my opinion , a lot of entertainer lip synced .

I find it to be senseless and very drama-seeking in a sense of them. I think that the inauguration was beautiful as a whole and should be respected as such. You're absolutely right!

i think whitney houston and mariah's versions of the star spangled banner are also prerecorded. is there anything wrong with that? it's her voice anyway.

You're right! That doesn't change the fact that it is still them! Lip synced or not, they all have amazing voices that should be revered as such. After all, if they didn't, they wouldn't never been selected to perform such a patriotic and beautiful song.

I agree with this..there is a point in that a woman can actually sing, and there is nothing wrong with lip syncing.

I agree completely. They would've never said that about Ciara or anyone mediocre.
