At present I am having unlimited internet and it costs me around Rs 550 per month. I am thinking of switching to 2G, which will cost me around Rs 54 per month for 500 MB. I am not sure if I should switched to 2G internet. I have to either find another source of money or additional source of money to pay my internet bills like from myLot and being active or switch to 2G for couple of months so that I can be financially budget myself better most probably two to three months. What will you do if you were in my position?

I am sorry I am not familiar with your monetary value and I don't know if it is expensive or not. But if I were to choose, I would choose unlimited internet. But if you can't afford it, you have no choice but to choose for the lesser amount. But, if you have many online earning sites, you can pay the higher bill. I myself think that I can earn here in myLot alone what is my monthly internet bill if I will be here 24/7. I can't do that though because I do lots of things here at home and we only have one internet. That means less time even if I would like too.
I wonder if you can switch from one plan to another every month? If that so, you can choose the lesser amount for months than later switch to the unlimited one.
Internet had become a household must nowadays. I think it will be hard to be back on the day when we will not have internet. I feel not good when our internet connection is down for how many hours. How much more if it will be totally no internet again.

Thanks for commenting back ajithlal.
I believe that you could reached the minimum paypal here in a month if you will just actively participate. I had received my payout here twice and the last one was last month. I really strived to reach the payout last month and I did it! It is really attainable.
Our internet service connection is not so good here. There are only two companies to choose from so one has really no choice. I am also a postpaid subscriber and I am sad that I can't terminate my contract to that company even I am not satisfied with their sevices..

Hi ajithlal, there are internet packages of different speeds and quotas as well as prices for subscription. Which to pick depends on the need of us. Certainly it have to be affordable. I would be contented I could get online daily to surf net and doing posts here as well as reading and sending mail

You have decided a right decision. You can adjust your internet uses and your internet bill and speed. If you only need for mylotting, I think it is enough. But, for me, I use internet for many purposes. I need a high speed internet connection and a lot of internet quota.

If I were you I would probably go with whichever you can comfortably afford right now. If you can't find the money for the bill one month then you'll probably be in a worse position. You did say it would only be for a few months, so if it would let you save some money then that would be a positive thing. I assume money must be a bit tight right now? "Back in the day" everyone had slow internet and we all managed, so it probably wouldn't be too bad. It IS a big price difference by the looks of it, and only you know your money situation, but if you're struggling, it might be an idea to cut back on your bills until you can catch up. I really hope you can sort it all out - good luck!

well, you have so good internet which cost you that much... I also have unlimited but I pay RS 1500 per month. I think you can pay for it by spending more time in mylot then you can reach to 10$ or ablove per month.... and I hope that you will find ways to earn more, we can attract money in our life by thinking about that, way and idea will come to your mind and will improve things in your life... just be happy and say thanks to God for everything....

I think most times it is easy to reach payout if you work hard. I am happy that I got paid the past couple of life. I was budgeting everything and cutting off that thing and this etc, etc and now I am trying to budget wisely and things that I can adjust well compare to before and thinks it is okay to not think too much of budgeting and have good budget than harsh ones by cutting all the things we need. I think Rs 1500 is too high compared to what we get and I am having asianet, which cost me now around Rs 550. I think BSNL is less compared to what you have Rs 1500 for unlimited ones and go for it if you want to pay less.

Here we choose the internet with the speed of 2M/s. It takes me about $7 per month. I think the real speed is much slower than it shows, sometimes it can not open a website in a minute. As we do not like to download softwares and movies, I think we do not use too much.
In your case, you can use some softwares to check how much you real need, then choose the suitable packed case for you.

I would stay with what you have right now and not put yourself in strict financial situations if you can avoid it. If there is only 4rs difference then go ahead.

I think is the best one to choose is the option that will not burden you so much in paying the bill.

What is the impact of using 2G instead of 3G? Will it affect your online presence? If you depend on online to make money, will that also be affected.
You need to do a simple cost vs benefit analysis to decide appropriately, and only you know your online pattern well enough to do that.
Ask yourself hard questions over why you might need 3G. Maybe 2G is enough if it does not affect your online activities. But then it might, right?

I also think that most probably the online income also might get affected as you said and also I might not be able to do all the online activities that I have been doing with the cable internet. That is one of the reason I am little confused should I go for it or should I continue go on with the present internet.

Hello ajithal
Life without internet is dull to me. It seems to me living in an island disconnected with everything. But your writing content focuses on the costing rate of your internet use.Paying bill for the internet is a kind of investment. The more investment is quiet right if you reap the maximum benefits. You like to switch to 2G internet. You need to be sure to its quality of service and expected speed.
