This is what I see every time I turn on the computer. it just more than a week ago when I reformat the computer in the internet shop. it took too long before they install the windows. and they told me that when they put other HDD it load continuously so they told me to buy hard disk .. but since when i turn on again the computer it works. so i Just ignore it and used it within a week until last 2 days ago. it hangs while I am using it and then after that every time i open then it shows 'ACER' Press F2 to set up.. then of course after that usually windows will appear. but instead it said " Repair your computer" then the second option "Run windows normally". and then When I choose either one of them it only shows " Windows load files" and it took hours showing that only.. and nothing happen.. till now.. Do you think is really the hardDiskk problem. It is only recently that I know that there is 2 kinds of HDD the IDE and the other one they called as SATA and which the technician said that my Acer Netbook has. and it's really expensive here.. what do you think should i buy? the secon hand or the original? second hand is about $60 and the original took about $90 dollars and I have tough now on money so what do you think .. is it ok too to buy second hand one? since my netbook is almost 2 year old now? thank you for your response.

It happens to my SAMSUNG netbook. The problem was only on the OS, my cousin reformat my unit twice. Since then, my netbook works well. Have you try to bring your unit to other technicians?

First of all, take your laptop to someone else and without telling them anything about the hard drive issue, just let them format it again or you can also try formatting it by yourself. Once it's formatted, try again using it, if the issue persists, you can then think of buying a hard drive, I would suggest you to buy a new hard drive because it's very tough to find an issue with the electronic devices and there are chances that 2nd hand HD may have issues.

Why not double check your computer for a possible virus. But if you can afford buy the new one the different of $30 is too minimal. Remember the life of the computer defend on the user and being brand new you will be the first one to use.
