A Simple but Wise quote by Einstein, Would you agree? / myLot

I have a good quality in me i never forget some good quotes, sayings or my teachers words. I still remember a lesson in my school days, in my English text. It was a lesson on Albert Einstein. And he said a line 'Life will be very complicated, if i start using a different soap for bathing and different for shaving' I would never forget this lines of his till today. And yes i agree this firmly. When we start accepting or changing our lives as per our luxury needs, life indeed becomes very complicated. When we start thinking about involving into or running towards the things that we actually do not need, we might get them but after a while we might be in so much addiction that it will make our lives hard. Living a simple life indeed might grow out of fashion or would might make one stand out of the shiny crowd, but it is definitely make you stand right out of that crowd and there is where a different identity is born. Would you agree with me? Both controversies are welcome. Have a great day

I think ...even without trying to complicate life, there is complication in it..:) So yes, simplicity is the best policy. My father wont agree..my complication..lol But I elbow him out...his complication..lol Are you Cancerian or Taurean? :) The worst guess..scorpio..:)

Oh your father has different thoughts than you do. That's great when i am at my home with family, me and my father never agree with each other on anything, that would be a miracle if we sit together and even have a cup of tea.

For a while it had reached that level, but in some way he loves me... So I give him the credit for our amicability when drinking that cup of tea. :)

Albert Einstein was such a great man! He was brilliant yet down to earth. I love the quote and if you think about it there is a LOT of meaning to what he said. For way too long people have lived way beyond their means, buying more and more expensive stuff on credit. Then when a disaster hits like a job loss or their investments take a dump they lose it all. They buy things that they really don't need but make a statement, they don't think about their purchases but run on impulse. So they end up in financial trouble, all too often winding up living on the streets - homeless. Another of Einstein's quotes that I have in my work room is: "Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited, imagination encircles the world."

Hi, I agree with you. We should live simple life. Simple living and high thinking is always good. I? like to mention another thought of Einstein - If someone feels that they had never made a mistake in their life, then it means they had never tried a new thing in their life.
