Fake fire logs

I bought some fire logs, you know the ones that clean the crud out of the chiming. They are so strange when they are burning. I guess I expected it to burn like a real log of wood.mthis thing burns so evenly and perfect but doesn't crackle or pop like a real fire does. Very strange. But at least I have a very nice fire burning right now in my living room.
