My first ski

Last weekend, we went to ski. It was my first time so I was very excited. I have always dreamed of doing any winter sports. And there it was, ski. Our friend and co-worker invited us to go out skiing, and I was like, "Yeeeeees! Of course!". I couldn't really hide the excitement I felt the first time I knew that in a few days I will be skiing down the slope. I was not even afraid of the idea of falling, and more falling, and hurting myself. My desire to ski was so much greater than the risks it poses. So we rented a bus just for us, and there was a karaoke inside so we sort of sang as we traveled. Then, finally we arrived at the place. It was beautiful. I am a fan of winter so seeing a mountain of snow, and everything around seemed to be covered with it, it was like my own paradise. So we got on the gears, and there I realized how tough the next things would be. I had a hard time doing the basics. I slipped and fell several times. When we finally managed to finish the basic course, we took the lift and descended the slope. I got to do it four times, and never at those times I did not fall the hard way. But that was fine by me. I really enjoyed falling hard, and felt like almost breaking my bones. I got to ski smoothly but I really had a difficult time controlling my speed in a very steep slope, and before I hit and hurt someone I try to stop myself, thus, tumbling down the slope. All in all it was a very wonderful fun experience. I hope I could do it again. And by that time, I hope I could manage to stop at will.

Reading your topic somehow reminds me when I got my first fishing rod. When I came here, I learned that everyone likes to fish. There was a river practically at my back yard where people from all over came just to fish there. Every time I looked through the windows and saw the river, I've always asked myself how come I never fish? I decided to try and was so excited when I bought my first real fishing rod.

You are so brave, lloydbelleza, I never had that courage like you. Several weeks ago, one of my co-workers invited my to go skiing with her together with children, but I said no without hesitation, as I was afraid of doing this. Though I never ski before, but I can imagine it's not easy . I am not good at all kinds of sports except for walking and running, am I too coward?

Your adventurous, ski sport is not just easy it is very hard controlling your feet and the balance of your body. Knowing the basic will make you enjoy more in the future but don't be over confident it is not that easy.
