Which site do you prefer to shop through?

I had something I wanted to purchase, and knew it could probably only be found online. Since I earn rewards through shopping through Swagbucks and Mypoints, I opted to go to these sites first before placing my order on BestBuy.com. I was just going to order through Swagbucks, but figured I'd see how many points Mypoints offered for shopping through Best Buy. Mypoints offered 5 points per dollar, where as Swagbucks only offered 3 per dollar. So I did my shopping through Mypoints. Do you compare points offered before making a purchase, or do you have a favorite site that you always shop through to earn points for online purchases?

I have not ever shopped through SwagBucks, so I guess my answer would be that I prefer MyPoints. I have a few sites that I can print coupons through, as well. I try to divide evenly among them. I need to get busy and request cash on a couple in fact.

I use mypoints and sendearnings when i shop online to make purchases. I usually use the one that gives me the highest points/dollars per dollar spent. in a world like today you gotta shop smarter and its great to get something back for it.

A Gather member has had tremendous trouble getting Swagbucks to give her the points for shopping through them, so I'm wary of going through them too. She has sent all her information to them and they refuse to give her the points. So I mainly go through mypoints, although I've gone through creationrewards before. But the last two purchases with creationrewards, I had to fight tooth and nail to get any of my points. Also, some things Mypoints does not give points through I can get cash back if I go through ebates.com. But if I can help it I usually go through Mypoints.

I buy through Mypoints sometimes, but to be honest I usually forget to go look to see if I could get points from them before making a purchase. I don't order too much online though, so that could be part of the reason I don't think about it.

I'm a member of MyPoints and Swagbucks, too. I normally make my purchases through Swagbucks unless they don't have the store listed or MyPoints has a great offer going on. I always compare the amount of points that I can earn from each site before I choose which site to shop through. It's really important to remember that 1 point on MyPoints isn't equal to 1 Swag Buck on Swagbucks. MyPoints has $25 PayPal rewards for 4,550 points. On Swagbucks you can get the same reward for only 2,500 points. Even if MyPoints gives more points per dollar, its monetary value may be a little less than you'll get from Swagbucks. You can figure out how much each point is worth by taking the prize amount ($25) and dividing it by the number of points it takes to get the prize. For $25 PayPal from MyPoints, that's 25/4550 or about $0.005... half a cent. For $25 PayPal from Swagbucks, it's 25/2500 or $0.01. It's not a whole lot of difference but every little extra bit helps.

Well I'd say you really did your homework. I've never really thought about it that way. Besides, I just go for the $5 Amazon cards on Swagbucks because that is only 450.. so 5 of those costs less points than 1 $25 card.

M Favorite is ebay.com. though i always compare different sites to reach to final call. there are many sites which are specific to a category like for footwear, sunglasses, apparels etc.
