Oscar Pistorius - Blade Runner up on Murder Charges

This morning in South Africa Oscar Pistorius known as the Blade runner (due to being the first Double Amputee to compete in the London Olympics in 2012) has been arrested for murdering his girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp. What a horrible Valentines Day for them. I believe he is claiming to have shot her thinking she was an intruder. However, that is not what the authorities believe happened. I just don't understand why so many athletes end up committing crimes. What is that all about? We had OJ Simpson, Michael Vick, Willie Mae, Dwight Gooden, Stawberry, Lenny Dykster, Mike Tyson to name a few. There have been so many Athletes committing crimes from felony to murder. What gives??

well let just think the guy did not do this terrible thing and that all will be ok we was not there and we only here what the news tells us

We do not k now that he is guilty yet, and he must be assumed innocent until that happens. However I take your point about athletes committing crimes, maybe what ever it is that drives them to perfection makes them intolerant of others who settle for less.
Perhaps they spend so much time concentrating on themselves and their abilities that they lose the common touch and sympathy for others and become self centred people. That is still a long way from committing murder though.

I totally agree with you on all points. I'm hoping that he is telling the truth. However, the police are saying it was premedating murder. They must have info that we don't for them to come to this conclusion so fast.
