Sometimes i am getting a severe problem with my laptop which is loaded of microsoft windows xp service pack version 2.
The message is appearing like this on my screen .....
Winlog generic control dialog : Winlogon.exe - machine type mismatch.
The image file c:\windows/system32/taskmgr.exe is valid but is for a machine type other than the current machine.
...........
I am not understanding why is this message appearing frequently on my display unit.
Please let me know the perfect reason for this of asking for error.
What is remedy for this critical error regarding microsoft windows operating system - a version of xp service pack 2...

Dear friend,
I have not yet faced any like that, but few weeks I had to get my computer rebooted. It has got corrupted. But never had any severe problems. Hope your problems will be solved soon. I feel it could occur due to clash of proper installation.
