It is legit and it really pays, I haven't experience yet being paid from that site but I know some of my friends who already working at that site.
Odesk is like a normal company that you need to create your resume very impressively, and you'll be also interviewed by the employer that will hire you. It has a vast job openings... that you may apply. You'll be taking exams too from the odesk.

hmmm it is Good but which type of job it is provide if we have normal skills and how much it paid actually the probelem is that how would we work on this site. I have already cleared reasoning exam on this site and want to work on this. It is possible to work from india on this site. I think we can earn a good amout of money using this site but now sure how would i find the job on it.

Odesk was paying to its members since long. But I have personnaly less experience with this site. But personally I have not got paid from that site. So I may keep silence about this fact.

I think really it is a good site. BUT THE pROBLEM is that i am not able to understand that how it is work and how we can find a job on this site and how much is the earning.
