I am talking of the series of bomb blasts on evening of 21st February 2013; thanks God I am alive. We had a plan to visit the Sai temple near Dilsukdnagar, the Lumbini park etc, we were ready to go out, but as there was no power, lift was not working we were waiting for the power to come.
Just then I received calls from my other son, my daughter, some relatives; asking me; ‘are you safe?’; at first I thought they were asking about my health; but later I knew they asked about if we were affected by the series of bomb blasts here in Hyderabad; as seen in TV news there.
I was not aware of this because the grand kids don’t spare the TV; they watch cartoons and comics.
It is learnt that the bomb blast occurred in Dilsukhnagar area; more than 14 killed and over 119 injured.
2 powerful bombs tied to bicycles caused this explosion at 6.58pm and 6.59pm. The bombs triggered back to back explosions near popular movie theaters; a stamped prevailed in Dilkhusnagar too.
Good that we had not moved out; we were saved
.
All know which country is behind all these bomb blasts in India.
Police is useless; they are posted to take care of VVIP’s, retired politicians; not the public.
This reminds me of the bomb blasts in Mumbai; I was there attending a work shop; the organizers had arranged my accommodation in a hotel near the Taj hotel.
Also on the day of demolition of Babri Masjid; I was caught in the curfew following it, in Jamshedpur for 3 days.
Have you ever faced any series bomb blast; caught in any curfew?
What the people get out of killing public on the street after all?
Please respond and share your experience.
Thanks in advance. Professor Dr. B.Saraf. PhD.
Cheers have a lucky day ahead.

Thanks God, that you weren't in that place where the bombs exploded Professor.
It was a blessing in disguise that there was a power outage so the lift wasn't working. Had it been you could have gone to that place too.
God has again given you His shield this time again, professor. So, whenever there's a delay like that, think of it as a warning and heed it.

hi professor,
i was worried when you told me last night about the incident and it was good that you were already on your way home. that would have been very traumatic experience especially if your grandchildren were with you.
am sad for the victims. i wish nothing like that happens again to innocent civilians and bystanders.
really lucky.

Honey
It is for the 3rd time it has happened, first was in 2002, second 2007; there is maximum rush in the Sai temple in the evening, there are also 2 movie halls and lot of coaching centers, so they target this place

Hello Sir,
Glad to know that you are safe. I came to know about this incident today morning when we got newspaper as our tv is not working so didn't get any news at all. Hubby also not gone anywhere yesterday after his work, so there was no information about the bomb blasts. I have read only the headlines and yet to read the news in detail.
