I just made my first pork bun and it doesn't taste right. The pork filling tasted nice but the bun tastes gooey. Does anyone know why or has any advice how to make it right next time I try.

I don`t know what a prk bun is. Please explain as in this site there are people from many countries and we don`t eat the same food. When I want to prepare something new, I read recipes online. Welcome to mylot and happy posting!

Hello, I'm sorry, so silly of me, I'm quite new to this site.
Yeah, it's really hard to explain but I'll try my best. Pork bun is also called hot buns which is a type of dumpling with sweet pork filling. It is also often referred to as Steamed Dumpling and is famous in the Philippines, China and other South East Asian countries.
