I remember when Friends ended...I refused to watch the last show because I knew it would just be too sad to watch. I'm such a baby.
I still watch Friends every night...all the repeats are on and I still love it just as much. If only we all could stay young forever.
You're probably too young but I used to watch a show called "The Carol Burnnet Show" many years ago and that also was such a funny program...you could just sit there crying because you're laughing so hard. When that show ended I cried my eyes out because it was just so, so sad.
It's so awful when any of these good shows end after so many years of giving us such great entertainment.

A lot of them live on on YouTube, though, not to mention DVDs.

You're right Barb..I should get the DVD set of the Carol Burnett Show, I think I'd love them. I used to like the Dean Martin Show too.....ahhhh, the good old days.

I haven't cried at a season finale, but I've been thoroughly annoyed that certain shows that I really enjoyed had been cancelled after one or two seasons.

This has happened to me a few times. I remember the first time when "Mash" was ending I cried. I know I'm dating myself now.
I remember crying when Brothers and Sisters last show aired. The funny thing about that was I was crying because of the storyline not knowing it was the last show forever. I then cried again when I heard it was not coming back. It was like losing a family all at once, never to see them again. That show was so well written and so good. I still miss it when I think about it.
I'm sure my daughter cried over Friends ending too. She was addicted to the show. I have to ask her if she did or not.
