So maybe they are repeating the twice used story line of possible half brother and half sister getting romantically involved because they don't know. The two times before it turned out that they weren't half brother and sister. Those times were Victoria and Cole who were very involved and then for a while it looked like Cole could be Victor's son. But it turned out that he wasn't. Also, I think there was one with Mac and someone when they thought Jill was Katherine's daughter but of course she wasn't. So now are they going to make it actually be the case. When Summer was born there some question whether she was Nick's or Jack's. Nick was the only one who saw the paternity test results. So maybe he lied so that she would be his. Of course they could work it to look like that and then have it turn out that Summer really is Nick's after all.
