caught in the crossfire!

I think anyone seeing my title would think of the real meaning .
When my boss called me for an instruction, I asked her if she has already seen the layouts of some materials she wants printed. She snapped at me “ Let me speak first and listen to what I have to say” .
Oh, she’s in a bad mood this Monday. When I went back to my desk, I asked the one processing the licenses of her businesses why she’s in a bad mood. And she said , the other EA gave her documents to be signed that are Urgent and it's Monday!
So, that’s explains why I was “ caught in the crossfire “ . Of course, I wasn’t the first one to be snapped at.

It's her responsibility to sign those papers. She should not get angry and ruin other people's day. I hope bosses should know how to control their temper. They're already the boss and sometimes they still emphasize that THEY are the BOSSES. We work together, their businesses won't run without us employees so maybe it's better if they'll also consider our feelings.

Well, i know her too well, that's why i tell everyone at our company not to have many documents for her to sign first thing in the morning specially Sundays.
As long as i know that it wasn't i that made her snappy, i am okay. I always just laugh it off, because i know in a while she will be back to her bubbly self, which she did.
Sometimes, we just have to give them that feeling.

Oh, I hope all her employees are like you. I guess you are not that sensitive and you know how to understand your boss. Yeah, sometimes, we just really let something pass. I hope our bosses are always in good mood.

When my boss gets snappy, she makes it up at the end of the day, by chatting about our families, over some foods she may have at her table, like peanut brittle.
I love her because she's a generous and considerate boss and when she's snappy, i know it's not me she's snappy at.

I think Bosses should be like this, flexible. If ever they become snappy at one moment, they should be able to revert back to their nice way after some time.
I hate it if ever the boss will remain snappy the whole day. I might as well pretend that my stomach is so achy.

Well, professor i always take things lightly.
I don't let it affect my good mood. I just laugh it off and would tell my office mates of the boss' bad mood. Thus, they will postpone whatever concerns they may have for her to a later time.

Chang, yes she's a kind and considerate boss, but she has every right also to get snappy.
I know her attitude so well, that i don't give her rush items first thing in the morning. However, the other EA much against her will though, have to have BIR submissions signed first thing in the morning.
My boss fully knows that these BIR submissions can be done a week before yet here they are rushing her. Thus, she was so annoyed.

No wonder she hit the roof.No person so good-humoured that he does not lose his temper at that moment. It seems that she didn't direct at you then.

oh well, that's reality.
good thing you have 2 aces up your sleeve, your experience at the bank, and your maturity. that's why you are more tolerant and don't take things personally, and i'm sure she's grateful also for your presence.

I am wondering how were you able to say that i have experience working at a bank, my friend?
Well, anyway yes perhaps it's maturity and my experience in having bosses, that's why i know more or less how to deal with their moods. Besides, my boss would be snappy now, but in a little while she's again bubbly and giggly , as if nothing like that happened.
I know her too well, because i am like her too , would be snappy at one moment but would in a little while so accommodating.
Besides, we to understand that everybody has their moods.

Well, i always can understand her mood, so that's why i tell all my co-employees, to never give me many documents for her to sign, first thing in the morning.
But then the other EA cannot avoid it, because she was given urgent documents for her signing.
But after lunch, she was agin her usual self, bubbly, talkative and kind.

Prerogative of the boss! When swamped with paperwork, they can snap at their staff but non of the staffs can ever snap back at her. And everyone must tread on carefully around her because of this, lol! I have been a boss in my previous work but I never snapped at any of my staff. I do tell or announce that I do not want to be disturbed and then everyone knows I am in a bad mood.

Yes, whenever the boss in abad mood, nobody comes into her room. And once called to come into the room, they wonder what they have done wrong.
I too experienced being a boss and yes i have my moods. But i make it up by being "malambing" afterwards.
