I finally watched it, the one Cruel Intentions remade. Starring Glenn Close, John Malkovich, Michelle Pfeiffer. it is quite a famous novel since even now it has been remade, a Chinese version last year.. it was a fun watch, very intriguing indeed, although i know how it'll end. The characters were well portrayed, although i think it lacked some details, like- how did Valmont fall in love with Tourvel anyway.. Oh well, i shall watch other versions as well.

Oh I got it all wrong! The first thing that came to mind was the movie A Dangerous Life instead! I guess I should watch this movie now to see if I like it.

@lady1993 Yeah I think it was an American or Australian movie. I like that movie. haha~ I saw it as a kid. Tessie Tomas is such a good actress.

i never heard of that movie, i looked it up and read it was a movie about the final years of the Philippines under Ferdinand Marcos' rule..but it's an American movie?

@owstalaga yes, i looked at it again, it was Australian sadly, i haven't seen Tessie Tomas in any recent movies she was quite funny

These are three very good actors. I can't really remember this film though. What is the storyline? Is it contemporary or a period peice?

it is a period piece, about woman makes a bet with a man to make this pure girl sleep with him... and they ruin some relationships along the way

yes..ived seen this when it first came out long time ago.. i remembered Keanu Reeves in a very sissy role here.

I really liked this movie. Actually, I saw it as a play in a theatre too, but even though I'm a theatre fanatic, here the play wasn't nearly as good as the movie. The movie was really intense and had that sultry and tense vibe written all over it.
