Saw the comet today

I looked for the comet yesterday but never saw it. So today I tried again except that I walked around to the other side of the house were there is only dirt but where I can see lower on the horizon. I thought I saw it so I went and got my binoculars and with them was able to see it. It was much lower in the sky than the tiny hard to see sliver of the moon and fairly far South of it. Even with the binoculars it was hard to see and it was getting lower on the horizon and about to be hidden by a tree across the major road there. It looked almost pinkish which may have been because of the Sun light still reaching it even though the Sun had set for me but there was still sill plenty of light for me move around and avoid the cactus.
