Blinking lights bad for eyes

Whoever put a ceiling fan near the lights must be as dumb as bricks. I mean when you switch on the fan the blades of the fan will spin quickly right? Try putting a ceiling light under those blades then you have flickering lights. This must be bad for my eyes because it's tiring to look at something. Now I switch the fan to low so the spinning won't be that fast. Probably will get a small fan instead of using the ceiling fan.

That is totally bad for the eyes. I really hate it when that happens especially when you badly need a good amount of light to do what you're supposed to do like working or reading. It strains the eyes when the flickering light starts. I guess, what you could do is ask someone to have the ceiling fan torn down or something like that.

But the house I'm living in is rented, it's not my house. So I can't do that. I highly doubt the landlady would tear down the ceiling fan just because of that.
