It was a bout a girl who wished her baby brother to be taken away by the Goblin King not knowing it would really happen. So the Goblin King gave her 13 hours to go through the Labyrinth and find his castle to take his brother back. it was a fun watch, the effects and costumes were good. It was a good kid's film about teenage life, i guess. It was like Wizard of Oz plus other fantasy films.

I still remember this movie because i am big fan of Jennifer Connelly. It was a nice movie with fairy tale characters,Goblin King and all that.I think story is similar to Alice in Wonderland ,teenage girl going on adventures in magical world.

Yes, it was based a bit on Alice in Wonderland.. they really took a lot of stuff from other movies, so some scenes may be familiar. i would definitely love it if this had a remake.. since we have better effects now and it would be so awesome to watch..

I think Lily Collins can play her role.. since she looks innocent and young, and they have the same thick-ish eyebrows too. or they can look for a new actress. There are tons of people who want to become actresses anyway.

In that case whom do you think should play the role of Jennifer Connelly in the remake?

I have that one. It wasn't a bad movie at all. That's probably because it had decent actors and because despite the fact that it could be stupid at times it's special effects and puppet characters gave the movie its charm. And it was an interesting story with a cool soundtrack. It had the potential of being one of those cult classics but I don't know if it ever achieved that status or not. I liked it though.

YEah, i find the singing random though. But the story is good enough, and although the goblins can be quite creepy.. the other puppets were fun and the dreamlike world was really nice.. and the worms, and chewbacca looking monster was funny.

Why? You should try watching the classics, maybe you would like it.. Not all teenage films are bad, some are actually deep.. but they are just very few. This film is not a very good teenage film though.

Yes, it is quite cute.. something for people who are quite bored.. It is just a short movie on a teenage girl's journey in the labyrinth.. And David Bowie is an eye candy for me.. although his acting is not that good.

I wondered if this was the one with him in it. He was the main interest for me when I watched it so long ago.

I saw this movie years ago. I wasn't paying much attention to it though. I can only remember the cute actress with the thick but adorable eye brows, the goblins and David Bowie singing... and I really find it hard to ignore his... umm, tights.

Oh yeah, a lot of people did notice his bulge in the movie, but i did not find it that distracting.. I especially loved the part where he tried to seduce the girl, with the part and the dancing and the dresses.. they looked so cute together.

it was not that big.. I just looked at it again, and i did not notice it at all. He did not have that many parts though, it was more of the teenage girl's story and the goblins. She was so pretty, and even until now, Jennifer.

I liked that part too. Kinda weird that this adult guy has this thing for a little teenage girl. Yea, a little creepy. Wait... what?? How can you not find it distracting? I'm amazed. How'd you do that?
