I think it's this stupid depo shot, I swear to god it's not working. I felt this way the last few times the birth control didn't work.
I am so nauseous, I can't tell when I have to pee (i get this horrible stomach pain then feel like I will throw up - I just know now to go and it goes away until I have to go again). I take gravol it makes it worse, so I just have hot chocolate with peppermint which semi helps.
Yet, according to my doctor it's normal (rolls eyes). Today the stabbing pain, and
cramps were even worse. I have another appointment on the 17th, so we will see.

Hi Ricki....if you're in that much pain and your doctor says it's normal, find another doctor. You shouldn't be in so much pain from that. Find some other form of birth control to take...there's tons of them to try, just like blood pressure medicine. I feel so bad for you right now.

Ive had the pain even before I was on the depo shot. It usually when it stops working it all comes back. But according to the doctor it's normal, try another birth control. I think I've tried about 28 different ones and they all work for a period of time then stop.

Whoah, I can't believe those things are "normal" when you get the shot. To me, that's plainly a punishment hehehe... I guess there will always be side-effects to things, but I think you're either allergic (to the depo) or you just notice the side-effects more than the other person.
Isn't there any other brand you can use? or an alternative way for birth control?
I know I wouldn't succumb to the discomfort if it really bothers me big time.
Hope everything is well. Have a great mylot experience ahead!

I had this before I was on the depo shot. It's not the shot that is oing it, but the lack of. It always happens works for so long, then when my body gets use to it, it slowly stops working and the pain and discomfort comes back.
I have tried 28 different oral pills that all did this, this is the only shot that worked for a period of time.

When I was married they had me on those shots and they made me have my time of the month way longer than usual. So we changed it to the pill. Lot of good those did because I still got pregnant

A lot of women have problems with the Depo shots like bad depression and such as that. I hope you get better.

This doctor doesn't know what he is doing, they give you a shot, it make you sick and they say it normal, something just doesn't seem right to me, these doctors are only out for money, they care nothing about your health.

Sorry to hear that the depo shot isn't working. I wish they would find something that will actually help you instead of saying things like that is normal. Yeah right, being in that much pain is not normal and they need to do their job and find a better solution to your pain. I hope you are able to get something out of them at your next appointment.

I believe the kind of pain you're experiencing is not normal. The symptoms you're expressing are things that I wouldh't want to be into. think you should consult or seek another or different advice. A stabbing pain and severe cramping are definitely not normal, to me these are dreadful experiences. I hope you get better in the days ahead.

That sounds quite awful ! I hope you figure things out and feel better.

Do you mean an injection to last a few months if it is that should not put you in pain.Sounds like you may have an infection in your bladder.Poor you take care.
