She is probably stronger than she thinks. It is a soap so surviving such things is usually a must. Just consider Victoria. She has had at least three miscarriages, lost custody of Reed in her divorce from J.T. and only gets to see him on rare occasions, lost Lucy the baby Billy bought for her, etc. But Victoria just keeps powering on. Now Avery is supposed to be this tough, determined lawyer so obviously she could survive most things.

They'll probably make it a big deal and before it all happens, she and Dillon will have a one night stand and she'll get pregnant and it will be the usual.."who's the daddy" story line. I admire Victoria more for trying so much and not giving up on a child. I'd be more nervous of Nick having so many marriages and a child with each and wondering if he will find someone else and divorce me after the child is born!!!!

People survive a lot of things they don't think they can, but on the other hand, they often make choices so that they won't have to. Nobody but Avery (and the writers lol) can make such a personal choice for her.
