Loading Up Problems

It is April 24, 2013 00:11 (mylot time) now.
Since April 23, 2013 09:00 (mylot time) I have been experience a problems with loading up pages in this site. I have to refresh several times to have the site's page or destination fully loaded. I just couldn't get things done the usual way and the lagging is simply annoying.
Just in case, I have no trouble accessing other sites like the local news, community forums, CNet, online shopping - which tells me that there's no problem with my internet connections.
Is this just me only?
If not, could the admin please look into this issue and have it address soon?

There are certain times that loading of pages become difficult. This is probably brought about by a lot of members logged in all at the same time.

I can understand if it is the lagging is scattered here and there but it's been more than 24 hours where the page just takes almost forever to load until after 3-4 hitting the reload button that the page will eventually appear.
It is really not the normal lagging I get and I would like to state that I do not have this problem with other websites even those that have a lot of graphics in their pages.
I hope the admin will at least look into it before the entire site crashes entirely again.

Try deleting history and your cache. That might help to make loading faster.
I am not experiencing any loading difficulties today, though.

I havent been having any problems in the past couple of days. Everything running smoothly.
It must be you. I don't know what to tell you.
Maybe clearing cookies and cache might help. Keep in mind that clearing cookies might remove all the saved passwords/usernames you have on various sites so make sure you have everything saved up if you decide to try it.

I really hope that it is my problem but I find it odd considering I am breezing just about everywhere on the internet.
I think I do speak for quite a few as I can see that there's some delays in the responses from my friends here. I hope that the admin will look into it just the same before it becomes a major problem.
Again, thank you and I want to say that I have done those you had suggested above.

Oh okay. Actually now that you mention it i've been having a problem yesterday and today i noticed it. I don't get emails for quite a few of responses on my posts. So i occasionally visit the pages of started and responded to and i see answers to my posts that i didn't receive in the mail...strange

Hi artemeis, in case my loading is slow indeed I will clear all the browsing and download history as well to empty the cache and all sort of unwanted stuffs. If it's still too slow I will have wifi test. If it's under the Mbps that I subscribe I will make a report to the isp to get it to be restored as soon as possible

I think the trouble here is not as much coming from my end when I am not having downloading issues with other sites. I could even have video streaming without a hitch of disruption.
I felt that the servers at mylot were not itself earlier and the pages just doesn't load at all. I believe that all's back to normal already as I do not have any problems since this morning.
I hope you will not go through all that trouble before you check if it with other websites.

I was thinking the opposite as I am finding it loading very quickly right now compared to other days.
Have you cleared your cookies and temp files recently? That usually helps for me when things get slow.

Thank you for your recommendation and I'd like to say that I've been there but it is still not working.
Now here's what I believe will happen from past experience, where after a period of this continuation the notification alerts will fail and there will be a server miscommunication coming up.
I have a broadband connection and using the latest Firefox browser which is breezing through other sites and streaming movies with no hitches whatsoever. So, I have to say that I find this odd enough to post and alert the relevant people.

I have been having the same problem and the delay is so annoying. I too, can access other sites so I hope that this is quickly resolved as it was so frustrating yesterday waiting for it to load between each discussion. I am not having internet connection problems either.

Thank you for responding here.
I hope more people like you will respond with some form of feedback to help the admin determine where the fault is or which of their servers is down. I see that there are members in the US that are unaffected and I believe it is not so in other parts of the world.

I haven't been having problems on Mylot(for a change)but I have been having my computer heat up. Did some work on it and it is better now. The Mylot problems seem to happen with a lot of us at different times. If it is really bothering you I would contact Admin of GoAskAlice.

It is a touch and go affair here where some of you in America are having the same problem as me while some others like you are not.
Anyway, everything seems to be back in order since this morning and I have been whizzing about with so much ease.
BTW I never know how I could contact GoAskAlice when I am not even a friend with her to PM or communicate with her.

You can email her just like you would any other member. I don't have her on my friend's list yet have emailed her several times.
