What`s your opinion about GMO crops?

What's the risk? I'm not being naive or flighty about this, but we've eaten especially selected beans; eg baked beans are from a plant which is a mix of broad beans and runner beans, we just didn't say GM0 we said 'hybrid', or potatoes, or carrots and on and on. We didn't physically manipulate the gene pool. but we cross pollinated to achieve set results like say smaller carrots.

There's some evidence that certain genemod grains are not good for you. Your body evolved to digest certain things and may not know what to do with these. And then there are the ones that were made to resist roundup, which means they have chemicals all over them. I'd rather eat organic when I can.

But scientists have already discovered some negative consequences in consumption of GMO crops, for example, mutations.

They've been treated with chemicals that make them resistent to roundup. Would you want to put that in your body?
