A Sailing Week in Croatia

Croatia is one of the most beautiful areas in Europe and the cost is just as amazing as the mainland. When my fiancé and I planned a romantic trip, we booked a yacht charter for a more stunning view of the area. Although we didn’t have anyone traveling with us, Silver Sail has yachts that could fit our family and friends comfortably. Silver Sail made sure my fiancé and I had an unforgettable time sailing through the Adriatic Sea. During our week-long cruise, we were able to make a variety of stops at some of the best islands and coastal cities that Croatia has to offer. Some of the stops include Sesula, Vis, Hvar, Makarska and Jelsa. Each of these stops has something unique and fun to do for travelers of all ages. Not were we sailing to these incredible locations, but while we were on the yacht, we were able grab the wheel and hoist the sails too. Adventure Cruises We love the outdoors and having our adrenaline pumping, so we went on one of the adventure cruises that let us enjoy sightseeing as well as some excitement. On the adventure cruise, we started and ended our cruise in Split. The cruise took us to the city of Dubrovnik and the islands around the area as well. Once we get to each location, we had opportunities to go hiking and cycling as we explored some of the most breathtaking scenery that Croatia has to offer. We were also able to go white water rafting and take a dune buggy along some hidden trails and along the white beaches. Have a Party Some of the nights while sailing along the Croatia coast to the different locations, we were looking for opportunities to party and have some drinks. We met some fellow travelers while we were in Mljet and had a boat party with our fully-stocked bar. There’s nothing that impresses people more than hosting your own party on a yacht. The party doesn’t stop on the yacht either. There are a variety of local bars and clubs at each one of the stops as well. We had an event pass, so we could go to the hottest clubs along the way to dance all night long, have some drinks and have an amazing time. A Romantic Getaway Sometimes you want a little piece and quiet with your significant other when you go on vacation. Silver Sail cruises are perfect couples like us to go out on the sea and enjoy some time together in one of the most romantic settings in all of Europe. Each night we enjoyed the most beautiful sunsets we had ever seen both on the water as well as on the shore of the mainland. We were able to find a quiet little restaurant near the shore while we were in Lastovo to have a glass of wine and check out the scenery.
