Fresh Brewed Coffee

Who doesn’t like a cup of fresh brewed coffee? I love it. I always have my two cups of coffee in the morning. it’s like a ritual with me these days. I have the Keurig coffee maker and I buy the K-Cups. I love extra bold dark roast coffee. To me that is the ultimate in coffee. The stronger it is the better. My actual favorite coffee is one names Barista Prima. It is an Italian most and extra dark, extra bold. And the flavor is out of this world. I like that coffee way better than any StarBucks. But I have tried many different varieties. I also drink coffee throughout the day as well. Sometimes I will have a late morning coffee. Or an early afternoon coffee. I always have one somewhere in the afternoon and another one after dinner. I know too much coffee is no good for you. Like anything else, too much of anything is bad. Soother are days where I do limit my coffee intake. Besides, I am a soda drinker as well. Diet Coke. Again, I only have maybe one of those a day. Usually with dinner. And we all know they have lots of caffeine in them as well. I remember years ago I used to drink coffee with milk and sugar. I couldn’t drink it any other way. But one day I was at work and they had this big urn of fresh coffee. But there was no milk or sugar to be had. So, I needed my morning fix and I poured myself a cup of coffee black. I have been drinking my coffee black ever since. On occasion I will put a drop of milk or creamer in my coffee. But only on very rare occasions. I never use sugar anymore. Actually I cannot have sugar anymore. I am diabetic. I do use equal once in a while, but not in my coffee. Maybe a cup of tea. Again, that is on rare occasions. I know I am not alone here with my love of coffee. And the sad part these days is that coffee has become quite expensive. Especially those K-Cup coffees. But an addiction is an addiction I guess. I also smoke but if I had to give anything up I would give up cigarettes before my coffee. To me coffee is personal and a treat. I know when I have coffee it is time to chill and relax. I love the aroma of coffee in the morning. The smell drives me wild. And in my Keurig machine I know it won’t be long before I will be tasting that awesome cup of coffee. I always have one before I go online and then I make another one and log into my computer. It just makes the morning seem like everything is going to be okay. Even if everything's not okay, that coffee is always there and relaxes me. Now, I will be going to have some breakfast. Maybe another cup of coffee also. I will see. Enjoy your day. I like to have coffee in the day sometimes especially with certain kinds of desserts. But, it makes me sleepy unless I drink a LOT and then it gives me the jitters. Sometimes I like to have a mug before bed as it makes me relax and sleep better.

I have noticed that coffee sometimes gets me tired. I don't know why that is really. But whatever. I enjoy my coffee.

la chocolat yogurt, so good!
I usually have 2 (small cups) per day. The first one is when I wake up...which is 50% regular and 50% decaf, and then the second cup is at night with my favorite yogurt (this yogurt is so freakin good...it's coconut yogurt with little chocolate chips.) Lemme see if I can find a pic of it. Oh, anyway, the second cup of coffee I have at night is 80% decaf and 20% regular....no need to explain the reason for that I'm sure. Now I'm gonna go find a pic of that yogurt..

I almost didn't even have coffee this morning. I usually get the coffee maker ready the night before, but for some reason, I had forgotten that I had done so last night. So when I got up this morning, I was feeling kinda crappy, very little ambition and just went back to bed. Got up again (still feeling crappy). Walked by the coffee maker several times before I glanced at it and saw water in the reservoir. I just about did cartwheels, lol. So, I turned it on and it wasn't long before the aroma fond it's way to my nose. It really is the little things that change your whole day, lol.

You won't believe this but, just the aroma of fresh coffee makes me queasy. I don't know why. I never liked coffee and after having kids I can't stand the smell of it. I will drink hot tea and that powdered cappuccino. I don't know what the difference in the smells of cappuccino and coffee are, but it must be something.

@inertia4 I guess I am fortunate that I never liked it to begin with. I know so many people drink it. I just can't

Well, lots of people are tea drinkers. But I think coffee is much more satisfying. And with me, whenever I have tea, I have to sweeten it up with something. I use equal. But I still prefer black coffee without milk or sugar.

I usually have two cups in the morning. One in the afternoon. Special occasions or locations I might have more. This amount does not seem to keep me awake, but not having that one in the afternoon tends to mean I will wake up with a headache the next day. I used to use cream and sugar, but when I had my first pregnancy it made me sick, but black did not. I now drink black coffee. I used to put flavored creamer in my iced coffee, but I drink it black now too. I love the smell of coffee.

I love my coffee black. Unless I am having some espresso. Then I will put a few equal in it with some milk. I have around 4 to 5 cups in a day. Awesome taste and yes, awesome smell.

Ever since we introduced homoeopathy in our life, coffee has become a bad word in our household

The aroma of coffee is so inviting.Though I was a coffee drinker, sometimes back I started to drink black tea.But now I am back to coffee. I am not particular about having milk or sugar in my coffee. If at all I take sugar,I do not like too much sugar.I always take strong coffee.I am prepared to drink coffee any time of the day.

That is awesome. I had already, from this morning, three cups. And I will eventually go for a fourth cup. At some point. I drink tea on occasion.
