I know they were a lot of movies that came out good for the past five years, the first one that really got to me was the 2012, since there's such rumors of fake end of the world. Then came the Hunger Games, which got even more exciting. even more with Divergent because being multitasking was illegal and different. Now, with the movie the maze runner, it's even more mind rape to me that people don't live in the society we lived to.
Of course, there's already called Mad max beyond thunder dome or time machine, even snowpiercer and other one that lives in the underground...
I feel like some one's sending a huge message here, just like that one with the Back to the Future with tons and tons of 9-11 message on it.

But the end of the world as stated in the Bible will not be because of pollution.

@salonga well, a lot can happen and pollution can be one of the big causes of it. I think the bible isn't stating it literally!

It's possible, but not that fast, probably thousands upon thousands of years later most specially if we don't do something about our own pollution.

Curious as to what the 9-11 messages are in those 'Back To The Future' movies, care to share @Letranknight2015 ?

There's a lot of youtube videos that gives interpretation of the 9-11 disaster but there's one for you. Although i thought it was just something conspiracy would make, but after seeing the all seeing eye symbol. In fact, there's just too many 9/11 symbols

For some reason I love apocalyptic and post apocalyptic shows and movies, though I've not seen most of them! I didn't know there were lots of 9-11 messages in Back to the Future.. used to watch that a lot with my kids when they were little, which was quite a while ago, I'll have to check it out again!

hi! @Letranknight2015 I ended up posting that link on other sites.. then I watched one about 9/11 'messages' in cartoons and tv shows.. Thinking of it as "synchronicity", and these made me wonder what we might not be noticing these days..

Hello @flowerchilde I didn't really noticed it either until that theory video was posted, it was hard to believe back then. in fact, it would have been easy if there was youtube back in the 90s or internet for that matter. Have a nice day

@flowerchilde well, I realized that none of it matters now because it already happened and there's nothing we could do about it.

My absolute favorite movie and book subject. I love movies/books where there is no hero who saves the day and the disaster actually happens. My favorite movie along these lines has to be The Postman. Favorite book, though, called "Lucifer's Hammer', about a comet strike. nothing saves the day, the comet hits, causing massive devastation. leaving the survivor to fend for themselves. Awesome book, LOOOOOONG book. Well worth the read. Not sure it could even be made in to a proper movie with out losing a lot of important stuff.

Darn it! How could I forget the Postman, and Waterworld too and madmax beyond thunderdome. Unfortunately, I'm not fond of buying and reading those books though. well, I appreciate the movie since I didn't have books to read them first. yeah, the movie seems to have change a few scenes different from the movie. well, thanks for sharing.

@Letranknight2015 When Postman first came out I rushed to the theater only to find they had pulled it! Bad reviews, they said, but come on. I loved that movie. Had to wait and rent it though.

@drannhh How did that movie got a lot of BAD REVIEWS? It seems that they were not interested in restoring United States after the post apocalyptic scenes, or the critics were having a bad day. You know the first time I saw it was great

It's all the makings of Hollywood, but there could be something to it. It makes us think about what could happen - not to say those things would happen. I love all the Hunger Games - and not to say that could ever happen exactly - but history has shown that we did like gladiator type games for entertainment in the past - and there will come a time when the people will not tolerate suppression any longer and will retaliate!

Helloo LK
I have been a fan of Disaster movies
. However, the ones we get today are more CGI based effects. I was watching the Towering Inferno the other day, and it was more realistic.
2012 was personally a disaster to watch - it more seemed like a mix of some of the best they had - from Volcano to Poseidon. I would prefer the Gravity (nothing about Apocalypse) or even the Interstellar (a terribly slow paced movie and only worth it if you survive to watch it through).
I loved the video you posted in response to allen0187. Would definitely spend more time viewing some on their list

But they were not original, I believed they got this idea from watching the movie "the sinking of japan" and saw this months after 2012, made me realize they got from somewhere else. It was really frightening, that warning about 9-11, i don't know if there's warning signs coming from recent movies.

Oh yes and don't forget the movies like Resident Evil, which are about zombies that bring on the apocalypse.
