I cannot imagine with what frenzy I grabbed every site that allowed me to register. I have actually lost count. I was here, there and everywhere trying to make my presence felt on the Net be it socialising, showcasing my writing prowess, photography the works.
Today I have toned down a lot. I hardly go to any sites. I could now count them on my fingers - just one hand and not two
Where did you begin and how engaged are you at the moment. .

I started here I guess, but lost interest because I couldn't showcase my poetry and stuff.. which I was most interested in. I moved to Hubpages and a whole lot of article writing sites.I ended with bubblews.. now I am here. I took a two year break from writing. I just write for a few sites now. In single digits.. but I may want to spread out if more earning opportunities are available.

Do you remember geocities on Yahoo. It was a wonderful place to show case our talent. Ofcourse there was no money but there was recognition. Today I am on FB, Persona Paper and here.

@allknowing I have never been on geocities, or persona paper. I am sure I would have loved it. I wanted to write on persona paper but the new rules don't seem too condusive. Actually when I started writing I wasn't looking for money,I was more keen on improving my writing skills.
