HOw I wish I can compose here. I did that when I was living in the place where I have my own garden, now living in an apartment on the 9th floor all I have here is dust. tsk tsk tsk

@sofssu I cant do that I have nothing to decompose i can recycle plastic containers but I don't cook (no kitchen) so i just buy food and consume them all (no ref) lol but good for you, one of these days if I will stay here for a long time I will also have plants in my balcony

@Mavic123456 I have been composting all these year even while I was on the second floor of my apartment. It has fed my indoor plants and my container garden in the balcony for years.

We had a composting system set up at the old house. It certainly took care of a lot of things that were tossed into the garbage. I think that we will set one up again when we move. It just makes sense!!

@Hate2Iron We really don't need to add to the landfills when we can make good use of what we have. It does make sense.. to set up a system.

We have five or six compost pits in our garden where kitchen and garden waste is dumped and every few days it is covered with soil and by the end of the year we have the compost ready for use.

@kevin1877uk, I am sure you cook even now..maybe it would help to have a small composting can working for you.. I don't have a big garden.. I have a small container garden in my balcony and the compost really helps.Give it a try.

Nope, I don't think that is as big in the states as it is else where.
