Well, I fell asleep with a book last night, way too early (8:30). So I got up at 4:30 am, an ungodly hour to wake up, I must say. Now I suppose I'll fall asleep early again tonight
How susceptible are you to changing sleeping patterns? Do you have trouble getting back to a sleeping pattern that you prefer?

During the week my sleeping pattern is usually the same. On the weekends it changes depending how late i stay up. But if i have company im usually in bed early when the kids go and wake up early but never at 4am. The earliest i'm up is between 7-8am. I hope you get a nap in today

I've never really been much for taking naps unless I was really sick. And yep, nodding off inadvertently in the middle of the day usually doesn't work well, especially if you're at work lol

I'm lucky that I can function on just a little sleep so my sleeping patterns are quite reliable as I tend to have no problems falling asleep when I'm tired!

I do not sleep in well. If I went to bed by 8:30 then 4:30 would be perfect for me. When hubby was working one job that was about the hours we kept. Or he kept. I stayed up late but got up early.

I go through a cycle. I have always been a night person and enjoy being up while everyone is a sleep and it is peaceful and quiet. Feel like I have the whole world all to myself. hehe But I have gotten into a cycle where I stay up later and later until I am up all night and into the mid morning before nodding off. I do that for several days then I fall asleep just after dinner for awhile and sleep about four or five hours and am up at 3a. or 4a. and up for four or five hours and then sleep again Then I start going to bed between 11p. and 1a. and am up during the day and sleep what people term as 'normal hours' for awhile.

Oh yes if I do get some sleep and my pattern is interrupted I have a very hard time getting back on the same schedule again.

I'm going to try to find a thriller to watch tonight and see if it keeps me up late enough..

If it is quiet in the neighborhood, I can sleep in, but the least little bit of noise and that's it for the day. I'm up and there's no way I can get back to sleep.

I never had problems with falling asleep in the past. Lately I have had issues.

With my disability... I do this all the time. I can't remember the last time I had a normal sleepng pattern.

I have no trouble adjusting to different sleeping patterns.

.. When I sleep early I always end up waking way too early.
