I remember a few years back Trump was talking about running for office but he never did. Now he is in the news daily. Would anyone really vote for him? Sure he talks a good talk about the border and illegal aliens but what else can he do? Foreign policy and such. And who do you think he would get for Vice president anyway? David Hasselhoff?

Well, after George W. Bush nothing would really shock me anymore. I do not know much details about the debates and topics but I can imagine he is entertaining and knows how to get people on his side. I would not be surprised if Americans voted for him.

@TLChimes That is very true. He just wouldn't make a good president on any level.

I respect him for that but that is all. He is good at persuading people because he is a businessman and makes a lot of money talking people over to his side. But, as far really knowing how to be a good president I don't think so.

@celticeagle Yeah, I'm also wary about his temper tantrums and his lack of tactfulness. Hopefully, he'll dial that down but I don't think he will.

@inkyuboz I don't think he can. And part of being a president is diplomacy. He just doesn't have it. He is a great speaker and is very opinionated and temperamental. These are not necessarily positive presidential characteristics.

He isn't good at his own life so why do people want him in control of theirs? * eyeroll *
He was talking with that Alaskan mess for a while there. YOu know, the one that didn't even finish off her time as her state's governor.
* sigh *
He's also a bit of a hot winded jerk that is all about money and not about the people he would be serving.

And I think 'serving' is the key word here. He would be serving the public and this is not something in his character. He isn't a server by any stretch . Oh, let's not even talk about 'the Alaskan mess'. My dear Kathy did a number on her on her show. Funny.
