so i was talking to a friend on FB about this.. home breeders who put ads in the paper advertising "new breeds".. you know the ones.."peekapood's" "cockabulls" "pug danes" (footstools,much?) asking exorbitant prices for hybrids.. y'know,i'm pretty sure AKC wouldn't issue certificates for a non accepted/standard outcrossing. what you have,sir or madam,is a mutt. i can get a mutt anywhere.preferably a shelter,where they have plenty of friendly lil so-and so's for me. ..and on that same note..i am amazed by how many pedigreed dogs end up at the shelter.there was quite a few last time mom was interested in a dog.people buy dogs too strong for them,like huskies.i love huskies to death,but i admit they pull me around like a ragdoll,so not for me. beautiful as they are.
