My kids are busy doing a craft project now, making use of the empty Vitagen bottles. My son just found some clean and empty Vitagen bottles at home, then he suddenly thought of making a car. My little girl also wants to make one, and my son said he'll help her making one. My son said he likes to try out something new and experiment. I think it's good and I didn't give him any comments at all. He just does what he likes to do, and he is helping the little sister to do hers too. I am just there to support when they need help and get them the materials they need. I really enjoy seeing these two young children playing, making things and helping each other. They always have their own ideas and ways of doing interesting things. Do your children like to do craft projects? What do they usually do?

That's the best kind of play, creative and imaginative. And if they are doing it cooperatively, you have everything, don't you?

Yes, I guess as parents, they are always happy to see the children getting along well.

It only means to say that your kids have an artistic streak . Imagine making a toy car out of that bottle .

I think all children are born to be creative and imaginative, as long as the adults (especially parents) do not stop or interfere. I am learning to be more creative when I am around with my children too. Even a box can turn into anything for the children.

Yes of course. I prefer kids to be busy with crafts rather than gadgets. Making crafts gives them the opportunity to be more skillful and innovative.

Yes, you are right. Moreover, there are less fighting among the children when they are working together too. They will appreciate the spirit of teamwork.

I love that! Not only are they are allowed to be creative, but they are learning about team work and occupying themselves! Our kids do the similarly - both are creative but in different ways. My 10 year old daughter loves to draw - out of nature or My Little Pony - she likes to create books. My 5 year old son likes to draw but has stories to go along with it - and he "plays" with his drawings as if they are toys or a background for his toys. But lately he has been interested in origami - he likes to create his own paper toys for now.

Your children are creative! Those are fun things to do. My children like to do origami too, and sometimes they just simply create something from a piece of paper. One thing I also like the children doing craft work is that they can just bring these with them along in their life, to everywhere too. They will not be bored or alone as they have arts in their heart, in their hands.
