A few questions from a newbie.

Upfront I admit I am far from a tech Internet wiz. Though I have been on the Internet for about 15 years I still get lost after turning it on! I have been here a week now and the only interaction I received from the administration was not a 'welcome' first--or at all--but sort of a spanking because I made a list of some of my likes thinking it would bring on discussions only to be told 'lists are a no-no, read it at....'. Okay so I learned lists don't lead to discussions after seeing many lists doing just that but I will go along with the rules. (End of rant) A few questions that I still haven't seen definite answers to after going to 'help' so I am turning to other people here. 1. Is there someone on staff you can ask direct questions to? 2. Is there anyway of getting rid of the most annoying video ads I have ever seen on any site--those that pop up every 10 seconds and start 'talking' as you are writing a response to someone and it takes you away from the response box? (Yes I know a site needs ads but...) 3. How do you go directly to someone's post--check on their name or URL? 4. Which is better to respond to--notifications or suggestions? 5. I did see an explanation of how to make your discussion into a suggestion--something about hovering over???--but I forget. Can you remind me please? 6. How do you delete messages after you read and/or answer them? I have 3 that do not have an X up in the corner. 7. I am not clear on posting links--can I post links to other web sites I visit? To my publisher's web site (which I do not make money from)? What about news stories? I have seen YouTube links, movie trailer links so I suppose they are okay? 8. Does MyLot have an official facebook page? If so can we post our URLs to our discussions here? Thanks for all and any help you give me--I appreciate it.
