Every day a horn goes off

I live in an apartment complex. Every day I hear a horn going off. Lasts for several seconds. Can a squirrel landing on a car from a tree cause an alarm to go off? I live in the north end of the city I live in and there are a lot of trees. Squirrels are all over and I am wondering if they set this alarm off.

I guess it's possible, depending on how hard the squirrel hit the car. Last month I think I might have set one off just by walking past it with a noisy cart.
There was nobody else around, and the owner was nowhere in sight when I left the parking lot. I was at least a foot and a half away from it when I passed, too... definitely didn't bump it!

Some of them seem to be real sensitive. But this horn goes off every day. Gets a annoying.

@celticeagle Could be a kid grabbing the keys, too. It seems like my toddler gravitates toward mine just so she can push the panic button.

I remember that when we lived at the apartments. I especially hated when those horns would go off in the middle of the night - grrr!! If a squirrel could do it, maybe a cat could too. At one apartment we would find cats and cat paw prints on our cars. Sometimes I do know it has happened during heavy winds!

I was thinking about the paw prints as I read this. I guess it depends. Sounds like they are all different.
