hotel accomodation needn't be five star for me

I am not one for staying in posh expensive hotels. Basic bed and breakfast suffices for me, as I usually only stay in other cities if planning on going round seeing / doing stuff or on appointments. I will see very little of the accommodation I actually stay in. As long as the service is adequate and the room is alright, I’m happy. I have been n hotels with collapsing beds, and clueless staff but most have been perfectly OK for my needs.
