Rude mannered lady at the bus stop.

I was waiting for a bus on my way home from visiting Manchester city centre. As the bus arrived I did my usual gentlemanly duty and invited the lady behind me to board first. She immediately snapped at me for holding up the queue and demanded rudely that I just get on. She sat behind me tutting at me through the journey. Sometimes trying to be being nice is just not worth the effort. Chivalry is probably dead through such ingratitude.
