Have you ever surprised anyone before?

I was talking with a friend about this as her anniversary was coming up and she wants to do something. But her husband never appreciates it and sort of made her rethink it. I love when people just show up and want to spend time with me. They want to just go for a drive, and talk. It got me thinking about this guy who I guess you can classify it as seeing. He is ridiculously shy, and even if I say he gets all nervous, and shy away. I've been trying to stick around to get him to open up but I am more of the confront honest type. I was thinking I could do a surprise of something he likes (always joking of these donuts I love). I never have any left for him (usually I get them for the shelter, or some meeting). I would mention it, and he'd say how he loves them. So while he's at work go put a couple in his truck. With the holidays coming up its one of those what to get him. I was saying to a friend he has a few old cars, get one of those model kits and place it somewhere where he'd find it to see if he can figure it out. Just the shock of finding it, and not being given it.
