Of all the virtues out there, Which one or ones do you feel the most connected to? Has yours changed over the years or have you picked he one you feel more of a closeness to? Mine would be a pick of both Diligence and kindness....I never give up and hope to carry on my compassion to others...

Surely patience, a lot of patience is needed to be married for 40 years.

@Rosekitty A friend asked me how many years I was married, I replied 40 and (laughing) she said, "you got a life sentence".

I think mine would be grace. And compassion. I hope to never lose these two virtues and to always have them in abundance.

That's good to read. I think mine will always primarily be kindness. It's my true nature.

For me, it is the soft heart that I have. I cannot remain sad and gloomy for long. I forgive and forget about the hurt that people give me more easily than many others. Though, there are some memories that are deeply embedded in me - I wished I could overcome them - memories of past, of love, of being pampered... They always make me feel pathetic whenever they return to haunt me.

@Rosekitty In fact not-forgetting is a better quality. It keeps you away from doing the same mistake(s) again.

For me, it would be Honesty! Nothing irks me more than a dishonest person. I have absolutely no use for a liar. I don't care whether it's a 'little' lie or a major one. If someone can lie about something little and petty, they can lie about anything.

@marlina..honesty is probably one of the top ones..but if you feel you have to lie to keep something from someone like i had to do then that is why i picked kindness
