I am having issues here

Since the morning I am trying to participate but the error and timeout is plalguing me. I have sought @myLot Bugs help and hope this issue will soon be redressed. I so wanted to respond to your posts but I just cannot get there. I tried to write a post and I got that error message but I am told by @AnjaP that it has appeared thrice. Hope Admin will delete the other two. *Thankfully this post has gone through

I've been having problems since last night. I can't access any of my friend's discussions. The Explore link worked today finally, but the people link is still not working.

I'm sure that everything will be fine. If you DO find that something has posted multiple times, just delete them yourself (any responses and comments won't be penalised. The new system tries to take that into account). When a situation like this arises (as it's bound to do with a very fast increasing number of users and an overloaded database system) you can be pretty certain that SysAdmins know about it, so messages to them won't help matters or speed it up. Nor will messages to GAA because he has nothing to do with the actual system and, anyway, lives in a completely different part of the country! All he can do is say "Yeah, I know. It's being sorted"

My article has been posted thrice and I cannot access my discussions to delete two of the three. I have sent a message to myLot Bugs requesting him to do so. I have not been able to access since early morning.

Yes there seemed to be lots of problems with the site yesterday but today it seems to me to be running just fine so far.

I tried responding last night and kept getting the time out error also. I gave up and read my book before bed. Today it seems to be working better though

@allknowing I think that you meant "Internet provider". A server is a device which 'serves' web pages to the people who request them by typing the URL into their browsers. I was just trying to tell you that it could be a combined effect including your wifi which could also be the culprit.

@allknowing It shut down again this morning while was chatting on here. Had to be rebooted. I will have my son look at it when he comes home this weekend. Something is off kilter either on the site or on my computer.
