We have, all through the years heard many great drummers in many rock bands. From John Bonham to Keith Moon to Neil Pert and the list goes on and on. Many real great rock drummers in our lifetime. But I saw a video on Youtube via a new social network. I saw this video and I was blown away. This kid is seven years old and he is playing Rush. Now we all know that it is not easy to play drums for rush music. Neil Pert has a unique style. This kid nailed it to a T. I was truly amazed and had to watch the entire video. I will add the link from Youtube at the end of this post so all of you can check it out and enjoy this kids talent. Now, not everyone here is into rock or heavy metal music. That’s okay, you don’t have to be in order to enjoy this great little pint sized talent. Believe me. I also checked to see how many hits this video has gotten. Well over one hundred thousand views. Now that is amazing. I am sure this has went viral by now and some of you may have seen this video. I just felt the need to share this with you. Every once in awhile we come across a videos of someone or some child with incredible talent. And I was on my new social media site surfing around and checking out posts and there it was, this video. It looked interesting so I clicked the link. And I was blown away at this kid playing drums. I have seen a few real good videos throughout the time being online. And this one for me, was amazing. Now I share with you the link to this video. https://youtu.be/MR_x_vrSZBM Copyright © 2015 Steven Cetta All Rights Reserved Check for all my Posts here: #inertia4posts Image Credit: CoolText.com Tags: #inertia4 #Great #Drummers #inertia4posts

Wow that kid is genius! Some people are just born natural stars and he is one! I too have seen many many bands through out my life. I was glad to have been able to see Keith Moon right before he passed away. Drumming is a special skill.

@mommaj I would assume that his father played drums and that his father was also into rock music. Like my son, he like all the old music I listen to. He just recently got into KISS. And I got him a few KISS T-shirts and the alive album. So, it does rub off.

He is. When I first saw this video I was blown away. For a kid that age to play like Neil Pert from Rush is amazing to me.

He could be. If he pursues a career in music. I like seeing videos like that one. And he is into rock music, hopefully. Long live rock. Nice!!!

Wow! One of my favorite songs! I absolutely loved the cover, the drum kit and he really nailed it! Rudiments are great as well. And, he's just 7 years old by that time. I wonder how great his playing is now...

He is gifted. I wonder why there are so many gifted children nowadays . I have read a lot about some gifted kids and i wonder what made then that way ? I know that it could be in the genes but what if the family are not that intelligent people ? It could be in the food they eat ?

It could be in the genes. And it could be also that he heard his father playing all those rock songs growing up since he was na infant. Sometimes it becomes built in. Either way, he is one talented kid and could have a great career in music.
